Hello! From: Messiah's House of Yahvah

Brief Origin

Our beginnings- In the early 1980’s, several local Indiana families from various denominations began assembling in homes for bible studies. We would often visit various Sabbath keeping groups traveling as far as 3 ½ hours for fellowship with like minded believers. As we began to grow, an opportunity arose to purchase an assembly building from a Wesleyan Methodist group that had outgrown their building. We purchased the building in 1984 and shared it for one year with the Wesleyan group until their new church was built. Since that time, our heavenly Father has blessed our small assembly helping us to grow in Messiah and teach the Gospel of our Savior Yahshua to the best of our ability.

Mission and Purpose

Our primary goal as an assembly is to build the character of Messiah in the hearts and lives of individuals to be effective witnesses of his love at home and in our communities. Yahshua was perfect in every way. He commanded us to be followers of Him so this is our aim. The more we become like Yahshua, the more successful we will be in our relationships with family, friends, neighbors, and our Heavenly Father.

The importance of relationships in the bible is evident in the two great commandments to love Yahweh with all our heart, soul, and mind and to love our neighbor as ourselves.. Until we learn to love our fellow man as Yahshua did, we will fail in our love to Elohim (God). As believers, we are commanded to follow peace with all men, without such we shall not see Yahweh.

Our Heavenly Father’s desire is that we become like his Son Yahshua. Our goal is to help individuals develop Messiah-like character. We hope that what you find on this website will assist you in becoming more like Messiah.

What We Believe

The original scriptures, Old and New Testaments are the inerrant inspired word which the Heavenly Father has given to mankind for an instruction book to follow to receive salvation unto eternal life (II Timothy 3:16, 17).

Yahshua is the only begotten Son of the Father and He is the only way to the Father and to eternal life (John 14:6). We are saved by grace through faith and not of ourselves, but we are ordained to walk in good works (Ephesians 2:8-9, 10)

Sin is identified by disobedience to any one of the Ten Commandments (I John 3:4) and is the only thing that can destroy a person (Romans 6:23).

The Ten Commandment law that identifies sin is still valid for believers today and cannot be altered (Romans 3:31). Yahshua stated: “It is easier for the heaven and earth pass, than one tittle of the law to fail” (Luke 16:17). Stephen stated the Oracles (Ten Commandments) given to Moses are also given to us in the New Covenant (Acts 7:37, 38). The Seventh Day Sabbath is still part of this law in the New Covenant. The Sabbath is to be observed by believers from Friday night at sunset until Sabbath (Saturday) night at sunset.    more >>>

No Hot Line to Yahvah

Image descriptionWe do not claim to have an Emergency Hot Line to Yahvah, neither do we have a prophet that hears directly from Him. We do however know that effectual fervent prayer availeth much for His saints. James 1:5, James 5:16, Col 1:9, 2Thessalonians 1:11, We are simply men and women seeking to abide in his calling as little children in faith but in understanding as men.

We receive the word with all readiness of mind. We are from several different denominations. We have found many forgotten truths reliable and trustworthy which lead us to leave behind many falsehoods and modern traditions of men. We invite you to allow Yahshua to transform your hearts with ours as we learn together in spirit and in truth. We pray that you'll find something here to bless your walk along the narrow way. Let us know what you think. We would appreciate your feedback. May Yahvah bless you in your search for truth.
